These replicas of 1849 ten dollar gold mormon coins can be bought at places like museums and historical sites for a couple dollars each.  They don’t have the weight, color, or detail that an authentic 1849 $10 gold coin will have.  Some of these replicas will say “copy” some will not.  The coin not saying “copy” is never a 100% sign that it is authentic.
