The 1849 five dollar gold Mormon restrikes are harder to find than the actual gold coins from 1849.  The restrikes are worth less than all but the lowest grade 1849 five dollar gold coins.

All gold mormon coin restrikes are very easy to spot because they were struck on brass.  The restrikes also only feature one side of the coin.  The reverse of the restrikes is completely blank.
